| Athletic Highlights: |
| The High School Ammended their 53 yr. old rule prohibitting Freshman from playing varsity when he came in as a Freshman to allow him to play and he started every game at Running Back. In his sophomore year Chase was moved to Linebacker and TE (2 positions he had never played) and was 1st Team All-Region at both by the season's end. In his Jr. year he is having a stellar season. He was voted the first ever Junior Team Capitain. He leading the state of VA in tackles (Avg. 15+ Tkl's a game and 3 TFL's a game) and is one win away from leading LCHS to it's first playoff birth in 12 years. He is also currently ranked second in the state of VA for rec. by TE's with 28 rec for 400 yards and 3 TD's. He has also thrown a 56 yard TD pass and had a two yard TD run. He is currently the odds on favorite to win defensive player of the year honors. |
